Who We Are
Tadabbur Club is a London-based community dedicated to meaningful reflection. We come together to nurture God-consciousness (تقوى), and support each other in living more mindful, purposeful lives.
Tadabbur (تَدَبُّر) is an Arabic verb meaning to reflect deeply, to ponder, or to contemplate. It is a word that is mentioned throughout the Holy Quran, for example in 4:82, which inspired Tadabbur Club’s flagship programme: Tadabbur Quran Club.
أَفَلَا يَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ ۚ وَلَوْ كَانَ مِنْ عِندِ غَيْرِ ٱللَّهِ لَوَجَدُوا۟ فِيهِ ٱخْتِلَـٰفًۭا كَثِيرًۭا
“Do they not then reflect on the Quran? Had it been from anyone other than Allah, they would have certainly found in it many inconsistencies.”
4:82
